A Timeless Treasure Photography

"Treasure these moments forever!"

What should you expect when you book a wedding with us?

First, If you are interested in having us as your wedding photographer(s) we will meet with you in person over a cup of coffee or tea (our treat) to review the packages and help you decide which package is best for you.  We will review the contract with you and get your wedding date reserved (with payment of deposit).

Next comes the planning. We will again meet with you to discuss each element of your wedding.  From the bridal party, the schedule of the day, the people you want included, and more.  We work with you to learn the aspects of your wedding that mean the most to you!  If the venue is new to us we may ask to do a pre wedding walk through to make sure you get the photographs you expect! It will help our creative thinking kick into high gear as we prepare for your big day!

What should you expect the day of your wedding?

We will show up to the location at least 15 minutes earlier than the agreed upon time so that we can set up our equipment and answer any questions that you might have.

After the set up we will split up  and start taking preparation photos, if that was a part of the package that you had purchased.

We will borrow the rings, dress, shoes, and bouquet to take some posed prop pictures of the most important items that you will have in the wedding.

When you are ready we will do the first look session (if that is your preference). One of us (photographers) will stand at the back as the bride runs to meet her groom, the other photographer will stand at the front. We will get two different vantage point shots of this special viewing.

First look will lead into bride and groom portraits. That's where scouting out the area will come in handy. We will pose you based on the preferences we would have discussed prior to our arrival. This session may take over an hour.

After the bride and groom session it's time for the wedding party and family photos. This session is usually hard to set up, it is difficult getting all of these people together at the same exact time, so designating a runner to deliver the message that we are ready for pictures would help. This session can take over an hour as well.

Depending on the schedule you establish, the ceremony should be getting close to starting following the family portraits. The bride and groom will have time to finish off last minute preparations and we will set up in our designated spots. Once again, we will have two vantage points of the ceremony. We will stay back and out of the way, and try to make ourselves invisible while the beautiful couple is joined in marriage. Please note: If the wedding venue of the ceremony is in a low light, dim lit interior we will need to use flash equipment which can be distracting to you and your witnesses. Also, some churches do not allow flash photography, we will look into this before coming to your ceremony to photograph for you.

After the ceremony we will take photographs of the reception, we usually try to get photographs of the food before everyone dives in so that you can remember the complete elegance of the caterers skills as they delivered your meal. We try very hard not to get pictures of people putting food in their mouths. We will however try to catch the bride and groom sipping their wine together and whispering little sweet nothings.

We will be capturing the activities of the reception from first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss and more based on your preferences.  This is an important part of the pre wedding planning meeting as well.

Once the reception is over, we will again be set up in two different vantage points as the bride and groom make their escape. Whether you have hired a horse drawn coach or a limo we will take pictures of it before you have gotten out the door. One photographer will stand at the back and one at the front as you make your escape.

At that point we might stay and take some extra pictures of your wedding party and then we will leave to go start editing your pictures.

We take a lot of photographs so the editing process can be long and tedious. We will, however, work on it every day until it is completed for you. The process is usually close to two weeks (but may be longer in peak wedding season) until we have completed the photos. We then post proofs on our website where only a person with a password can view them.

At this time you can make your print selections and provide selections for the wedding album based on the package you had purchased.  If an album is included we will also have a preview of the completed album before ordering the final product.

(Please note: the example that we have provided here is based on a bride and groom that had purchased one of our larger packages. Our smallest package only includes 1 photographer for 2 hrs.) If you would like to see our wedding packages including prices please click hereto request contact from one of our photographers.
